The Computer Science Club

By Kyler Telge, Staff Writer

The Computer Science Club is seeing some new faces and welcomes them all the same as we are almost finished with the first six weeks of the year. Every Tuesday about a dozen like minded people come together after school to learn more about programming with different languages and forms of code such as HTML, CSS, Java, and possibly others in the future. The goal overall in the club is to educate students about the broader world of computer science.

The president of the club, Abrar Anwar, plans on participating in events such as HP Code Wars, the American Computer Science League, and Code Day Houston. There are in depth problem solving sessions also if that is more your thing that involve thinking in complex manners, breaking down situations step by step to understand what information is given, and working with people to solve a problem.
