With spring break coming up, everyone will be looking for fun ways to spend their free time. Here are a few fun things to do while on spring break:

1. Galveston Island– Along with Galveston beach, there are tons of fun things to do in Galveston this spring break. Schlitterbahn Galveston is one of the best water parks in the south. Moody Gardens fuses the fun activities with a learning experience. Lastly, downtown Galveston has many cool little shops built in the old buildings to create a rich historical environment.

3. Houston Museum of Natural Science– The museum is open 9-5, and free on Thursdays. The museum features dinosaur exhibits and a butterfly sanctuary. In the heart of Herman Park, its just a minutes walk from the zoo and the park.

4. Downtown Aquarium– The Downtown Aquarium is a restaurant/theme park in downtown Houston. Along with its food and rides, the aquarium is exactly what it is, an aquarium. With large fish sanctuarius, you can see sharks, sting rays, and many exotic fish.

5. Space Center Houston – Space Center Houston is open 10:00 A.M to 5:00 Pm on weekdays and 10:00 to 7:00 on weekends. Space Center is a Space themed park owned by NASA that links the fun entertainment of the rides and performances with education about space.
