Although there are lots of crazy laws that people don’t agree with, these are truly some of the craziest laws in the U.S. These top ten crazy laws in Utah will leave you baffled and questioning how they even got passed.


(1) It is illegal not to drink milk.

(2) Birds have the right of way on all highways.

(3) A husband is responsible for every criminal act committed by his wife while she is in his presence.

(4) It is a felony to persistently tread on the cracks between paving stones on the sidewalk of a state highway.

(5) It’s legal for restaurants to serve wine with meals, but only if you ask for the wine list.

(6) It is illegal to cause a catastrophe.

(7) In Logan, women may not swear.

(8) In Provo, throwing snowballs will result in a $50 fine.

(9) In Monroe, daylight must be visible between partners on a dance floor.

(10) Alcohol may not be sold during an emergency.
