Boys’ basketball challenges the Foster Falcons

The sophomore basketball team defeated the Foster Falcons on Friday, Feb. 23, by a score of 59-47. The Longhorns were led offensively by Francis Ezenwa with seventeen points and Charles Rivers with sixteen and defensively by (Spell Check?)Quyhn Nguyen.
The varsity team fell to the Falcons. The team was led by strong play from Timon Nolan who had fifteen points. Ndi Eze and Donny Mbidoaka both dominated the boards.
The Freshmen A team defeated the Falcons, trailing by eighteen points before fighting back for the win 63-60. Darius Anderson played great defense all night and finished many plays. Tadrian Gayden and Myles Thompson had great hustle and energy for the team. This brings the team’s overall record to 19-6 and district record to 10-1.
The JV defeated the Falcons by a score of 43-28. Kaleb Franklin led the team all night with his great play under pressure. Reggie Solomon stayed tough and wasn’t afraid of getting on the floor to remain in strong defensively while Trey Delasbour made great passes. This brings the team’s district record to 10-1.
