People without homes. People without money. People without a Thanksgiving meal. Houston needs help from local communities.

After Hurricane Harvey, local businesses and companies are making their best abilities to provide families in need a Thanksgiving meal. One, in particular, is Gallery Furniture.

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, on Good Morning America, announced that his North Freeway location will be open For Thanksgiving to serve free meals from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

According to ABC, “We hope to have as many as 2.500 to 3,500, maybe we’ll have 5,000…..the more, the merrier,” McIngvale said.

While Mattress Mack is supplying the food, he is looking for help. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can sign up on Gallery Furnitures’s website.
