Longhorn Varsity baseball team improved their record to 3-0 in district play by defeating Brazosport Exporters Tuesday, March 19 with a score of 5-1. Senior Will Gay took the mound and pitched a complete game allowing only one hit while striking out 12. The offense was led by Lorenzo Palomares, who went 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI Chad Romere was 2 for 3 while juniors Stone Garrett and Kyle Owen, Gay and Jared Shaver each had hits. The Longhorns continue district play as they host the Bay City Blackcats Friday, March 22.
