The Wrangler: What got you interested in law enforcement?

Roberts: I have always been fascinated in law and court practices [on] TV and my grandpa was a police officer, so I was exposed to that a lot.

The Wrangler: How long have you been a part of this club?

Roberts: I have been in the class for two years and this year is my first year as part of the club.

TheWrangler: How much of your time has been affected by this club?

Roberts: I have spent almost every Thursday after school to work for the club.

The Wrangler: Do you see a future in law enforcement or is it just a hobby?

Roberts: I do see a future, either [as] a criminal justice lawyer or I’ll go into forensic science.

The Wrangler: What events do you participate in?

Roberts: I am currently in American Spirit and Traffic Felony Stop.

The Wrangler: Are you interested in becoming an officer?

Roberts: I might become an officer, but I’m not interested in the other stuff.

The Wrangler: What are the qualifications to become an officer?

Roberts: The requirements are to go to the academy and pass all their requirements, and I think have some college done.

The Wrangler: What has been your highest achievement that you have been awarded?

Roberts: I have not achieved anything yet because this is my first year as part of the club.

The Wrangler: What are your goals for next year?

Roberts: My goals for next year is to join the club again and become and officer.

The Wrangler: What advice would you give to someone who wanted to join law enforcement?

Roberts: If you want to join you can stop by the law enforcement room and talk to Mrs. Urbina to show your interest and skills in the subject.
