The JV Maroon football team won their first district game Wednesday night, September 25, against the Foster Falcons to keep their undefeated record of 5-0 for the season. Josh Cruggs had a huge night with a 70 yard touchdown run and numerous other runs on the night. Zach Loskie scored on a pass from Blake Wichard, then ran in the 2 point conversion to cap the scoring. Kristian Novosod and Amir Mitchell stood out defensively for the Longhorns who have not allowed a point for the third consecutive week. The Longhorns will travel to Terry to face the Rangers. Kickoff is set for 7:00.
