High school grad. or newest member of Congress?

Saira Blaire is currently the youngest person ever to run for West Virginia’s seat in Congress. At the age of 17 Blaire won a Republican election against two-term incumbent Larry Kump. Apparently politics run in the family’s blood because her father Craig Blair, is a state senator who also served in the West Virginia House of Delegates for eight years. Her goal is to bring more people to West Virginia in an attempt to boost economic growth. She believes that by turning the focus of political views toward the Republican Party, West Virginia’s population will increase.
