In honor of George Ranch’s “Generations of Kindness”, The Wrangler is bringing facts of the day in order to remember what has occurred in past generations. Join us as we travel back in time through the generations.

Tuesday, November 2nd (Baby Boomers): On this day in 1947, the 13th Heisman trophy was awarded to Notre Dame quarterback, John Lujack.

 

Wednesday, November 3rd (Generation X): On this day in 1967, Dr. Christian Barnard performed the first human heart transplant in South Africa.

 

Thursday, November 4th (Generation Y): On this day in 1985, the musical “Les Miserables” opens in Palace Theatre in London.

 

Friday, November 5th (Digital Natives): On this day in 2006, Greg Maddux signed with the San Diego Padres in a one-year deal worth $10 million.
