Foxygen - We are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic /// Despite a very short 37 minutes, Foxygen’s newest album is an upbeat and cheerful listening experience. Beginning with the track titled “In the Darkness,” and on throughout, Foxygen provides excellent songwriting, head-nodding sounds, and a playful tone. A highlight of the album is the third track “On Blue Mountain”, an almost six minute long song in which Foxiygen shifts through various melodies (as they do throughout several parts of the project) and creates a psychedelic journey in a single song. Following this is the catchy single, San Francisco—another highlight. Actually, every single song in the album is a highlight. Just check out the album and listen to it!
