The Wrangler sat down with Junior, Keaton Milburn, and discussed fashion, her YouTube channel, and her future.

The Wrangler: What inspired your fashion?

Milburn: I don’t know. I’ve always dressed really weird. At Campbell I was the only one that wore the beads around my neck and I wore finger gloves and no one else did. I guess I never really noticed it, but I guess celebrities help with that kind of stuff but I’ve always just liked certain things and put them together, even though they probably didn’t go together to everyone else but just celebrities nowadays kind of inspire me but mainly my own personal liking of things.

The Wrangler: So there’s no particular style you aim towards?

Milburn: No there’s not a particular style I aim towards because sometimes I’ll dress really girly and be like “oh I love dresses” and some days I’m wearing literally all black. So it’s just I don’t have a certain style which is what I like. I guess my style is having no style. It’s just I can’t change into whatever I want to wear.

The Wrangler: Why do you make YouTube videos?

Milburn: I think the reason I make YouTube videos is because first of all, I like to talk a lot. I literally am always talking and so I just think that I like having an audience to speak to and I also do broadcasting here so I thought why not make YouTube videos and see if people like those and also with my Instagram growing, a lot of people asked for videos. So the first one I did was a question and answer. So I was just kind of new to it and just more creative. I just kind of started doing that for fun. Just a little hobby.

The Wrangler: How would you describe your music taste?

Milburn: My music taste is really weird. So I don’t listen to any country at all. I’m not down with any country. But I like- obviously my biggest thing is that I love One Direction. I am a hardcore One Direction fan, but my music taste is not all One Direction. I listen to more alternative stuff, but it’s not alternative rock, its alternative pop. I listen to the Jungle Giants, or Two Door Cinema Club and people like that. SO I like listening to that. And I like Paramore. My music taste is all over the place. I can listen to anything except for country.

The Wrangler: Do you have any specific favorite bands that you enjoy the most?

Milburn: I like One Direction a lot but that’s just because…. there really good looking and I’ve liked them since seventh grade. But I really like- Does it have to be a band?

The Wrangler: It doesn’t have to be a band, it can be a single person.

Milburn: Ok. Well I really like Ed Sheeran a lot. I love him and I’ve loved him a few years now. And I went to his concert a few years ago and it was the best thing of my life. I cried so much. I really, really like Ed Sheeran and I really, really like Miley Cyrus just because she’s one of my favorite people on the entire planet.

The Wrangler: If there was one thing in your past you could change, what would it be?

Milburn: I don’t know. I don’t know what I would change. I was thinking I would say my blue dot but now it’s part of my face, so I would not take it off. I don’t think there’s anything I would change really.

The Wrangler: If you had a superpower, what kind of superpower would it be?

Milburn: I would either want to be invisible and I would spy because I’m super nosy so I would just be ‘oh what are they doing’. I would want to be invisible or want to fly. I would just fly everywhere because I hate traffic. I would fly because I don’t like traffic. I would be a bird.

The Wrangler: Would you be able to fly like Superman or have wings?

Milburn: I don’t know. Probably just like Superman. I would be able to fly but I wouldn’t need any support I would just look normal.

The Wrangler: What’s your favorite memory?

Milburn: I always say my whole seventh grade year was really, really fun- which sounds super weird but I loved seventh grade. There’s a lot of things. I’m trying to think of a vacation I liked. The cruise that I went on- I really liked that because it was twenty four of us, it was my entire family and their family, and it was just a bunch of people. So I really liked that because we didn’t have cell phones- OH WAIT no no, no that’s not my favorite. Now that just reminded me. My favorite memory would be when I went to Guatemala on a mission trip. I went three years ago and it was my first mission trip and I loved it. It was the most fun thing I’ve ever done. You didn’t have any phones and you were there for two weeks and you just got to meet these people and see how they live. It was just really fun.

The Wrangler: Have you gone on many mission trips after that?

Milburn: That was my first one but I haven’t gone on any other ones just because the church that I go to doesn’t specifically do there, because they haven’t managed them yet. But I’m going this year, they’re having their first one, and were going to the Dominican Republic. So right when they announced it I was like ‘I have to go’.

The Wrangler: What makes you happy and why?

Milburn: I think what makes me happy is being able to make other people happy and surrounding myself with the right people. Because I just feel like that really important to me; being able to surround myself with the right people who have a positive impact on my life. So I just think what makes me happy is having positive and happy people around me and being able to make other people laugh or make other people enjoy something  that you enjoy which kind of relates back to the whole YouTube thing. I like having interests that other people might not know about and they like it and stuff like that.

The Wrangler: Last question; what do you want to do when you get older and why?

Milburn: I think that I would- I honestly don’t know what I want to do. I do broadcasting and communications and stuff like that but I also like modeling and I like, I really like interviewing people. I just like stuff like that. Kind of like journalism stuff. So I’m not sure what I want to do, but I know I want to do something in that area of journalism/broadcasting.

The Wrangler: You know there are realistic jobs but is there a specific dream job that you want?

Milburn: I used to always want to- this sounds super lame- but I love interviewing people and I love celebrities and I love everything about that and I love talking and so I’ve always wanted to be one of the hosts on a red carpet or be able to go places and talk to famous people and meet them and figure out things other people don’t know. So I’ve always kind of wanted to do that. Be like Julianna- or whatever her name is- on E!News; just someone like that. That would be fun. That would be a goal I guess. I feel like it would be a fun job, that it wouldn’t be lame.
