57th Annual Grammy’s

The 57th annual Grammy’s music awards was held on Sunday, Febuary 10th. Music’s biggest night featured performances from Hozier, Ariana Grande, Mary J Blige, and a trio composed of Kanye West, Rihanna, and Paul McCartney. Sam Smith stole the night with a total of 4 Grammy’s won and a show-stopping performance.

The Grammy’s is the most prestigious award show in the world of music. It is the highest honor in music to win a Grammy. The Grammy winners and nominees are elected by a committee of 1300 people.

8. Kanye West, Rihanna, and Paul McCartney’s performance of “fourfiveseconds”.

1. Kanye West jokingly goes on stage after Beck wins Album of the year.

America’s hearts stopped when they saw ‘Ye go on stage when Beck was accepting his Grammy for album of the year. Everyone was worried that we were going to see another Taylor Swift moment. But right as Kanye was about to take the microphone, he turned away and laughed, signifying that it was a joke.  After the awards, Kanye told a reporter how he really felt, saying that Beck didn’t deserve the award and they should’ve given Beyonce the award.
