The choir traveled to Marshall High School this past weekend to compete in Region 13’s Solo and Ensemble contest. Fifty singers competed in the contest. Three singers received a 1^st division in the Class 3 solo category; 3 singers received a 1^st division in the Class 2 category; and 20 students received a 1^st division in the Class 1 category. These 20 singers now may go on to the State Solo Contest at the University of Texas, Austin in May.
