The Longhorn JV Softball team tied Angleton 3-3 on Friday. The team rallied back with 2 runs in the 7th inning. Hitting was led by Taylor Pessina and Larissa Eversole, who drove in the 2 runs. Hallie Schmitt pitched the complete game and Destiny Walker made a diving catch to get an out.

The Longhorn varsity softball team won another hard fought district battle on Friday night against Angleton Lady Wildcats. Natasha Cabucio and Brianna Dixson went 2 for 3 at the plate. Meredith Moreland and Kim Williams both got RBI’s and the Longhorns defeated the Wildcats 3 – 2.
