Girls Soccer vs. Calhoun Sandies

On a perfect evening the Girls Soccer honored their seniors in their last homegame of the season. The Longhorns defeated the Calhoun Sandies in a 6-0 victory. Haley Hartnett and Jordan Shimaitis both scored two goals with Michelle Mills and Gabby Galvan both adding a goal. This win made the girls undefeated in district play and helped them earn their second district championship with the team scoring 56 goals and only giving up 1. Excellent job from all of the girls on this accomplishment!

Special recognition goes to seniors Lillie Landaverde, Kathryn Thaxton, Toty Herrera, Raven Towns, Haley Hartnett and Julia Linton for all they have done over the past 4 years for the soccer program! The girls open the state playoff Friday March 27th at 5pm when then take on the Lady Knights of Elkins at Mercer Stadium .
