The Freshman Black football team defeated the Foster Falcons Thursday , October 9 by a score of 22-7. The Longhorns were lead on defense by Lucas Gamez and Thomas Valerian, who both had interceptions. The Longhorn defense also forced and recovered a fumble during the game. Bryce Ramirez, Tyler Randolf, and Josh Frank all score touchdowns for the Longhorns. While Joel Barrera scored a two point conversion to finish the score for Longhorns. Next week the team travels to Angleton to face the Wildcats on Thursday, October 9th.

The Freshman Maroon football team opened district play Thursday night beating the Foster Falcons 20-0. The Longhorns found their way into the end zone with  Jay’ren Miller running a nice pass from Cristian Jackson to Nick Martinez. Michael Molina was able to convert 2 out of 3 to give the Longhorns 20. The Longhorn defense was able shut out the Falcons. Big plays included a sack and batted down pass by Peter Mpagi, a fumble recovery by Nico Velazquez, and an interception by Brandon Fikac. Other top defensive players were Garrett Arredondo, Treshaun Marshall, and Dalen Swain.

The George Ranch JV maroon football team traveled to Foster Thursday night and came away with a 20-0 win over the Falcons. Dylan Swain scored twice and David Fisher scored the other touchdown for the Longhorns. Joseph Garrey hit Johnny Luvender on a pass for a 2 point conversion. The Defense was excellent all night led by Brandon Greer, Tanner Thornton, and Colton Robertson. Kameron Campbell recovered a fumble and had several key plays on special teams.
