Tenzin Palkyi finished first place individually Monday, October 12 at Fort Bend Country Club in the team’s first event of the year. Her round of 81 was three shots better than second place. Ashton Maughan-107-tied for 17th place. Rae Gresso-112 and Arianna Self-119 played well in their first competitive tournaments. The boys second varsity team shot a team score of 309 to win the team title Monday. Jack Weaver, Hunter Breeze, and Drew Hartman finished 4th-6th place individually with rounds of 77. Brian Noh-78 and Nick Nguyen-87 rounded out scoring for the second varsity team, Thomas Kuznar-82, John Hance-84, Connor Rodriguez-84, Aaron Taylor-90, and Brandon Taylor-100 played to a team score of 340 for the JV boys team, which bested the Foster varsity team by 5 shots.
