Support the Children of Yemen

By Megan Perrin, Staff Writer

The Civil War in Yemen has spanned over a year now, and it’s affects are long in the making. According to War Child, whose statistics are current up to 26 of October, 2015, “500 children have been killed in fighting in Yemen since April”, and those that still remain are only doing slightly better. “1.5 million children are on the brink of starvation,” many of whom are shelter less, in need of medicine, and healing from psychological and traumatic experiences. George Ranch wants you to be part of the healing process.
In the week of April 25th, UNICEF will be selling bracelets in all lunches, currently priced at $1.00 per bracelet. All money will go directly to helping the children of Yemen. Donations are welcomed, and UNICEF looks forward to your contribution to supporting the children of Yemen.
