National days of the week 9/26 – 9/30

There is a national day each and every day of the year. Here are the national days for this week.

Monday: National Johnny Appleseed Day

John Chapman traveled around America spreading apple seeds everywhere he traveled. On this day people are encouraged to eat or drink anything made with apples.

Tuesday: National Crush a Can Day

This day is used to educate people around the United States that it is good to recycle.

Wednesday: National Good Neighbor Day

This day was created to admire the importance of having a good neighbor.

Thursday: National Coffee Day

This day celebrates and promotes coffee as a beverage.

Friday: National Chewing Gum Day

Gum has been part of the United States history for over 5000 years. We dedicate this day to the many different forms of gum that this country sells today.
