From November 30 to December 3 our Longhorn Players represented George Ranch and their Thespian Troupe, #7888, at the Texas State Thespian Convention. Out of the 26 students that went, 14 thespians qualified to represent GRHS and LCISD at the National Convention this June in Lincoln, Nebraska.

There were a few first time achievements for Troupe #7888, who had their Duet Musical receive perfect scores from all judges and make it to the Finals in Individual Events. Out of 1500 competitors they were one of 36 acts to to receive a perfect score.

Emma Glose also became the first thespian to win a scholarship from the State Thespian Organization.

Congratulations to those who qualified and the rest for presenting themselves, their troupe and school in such an exemplary manner.
