The Wrangler: How did you get into dancing?

Diaz: I got into dancing when I was in 4/5th grade and I loved it.

The Wrangler: Do you plan on doing dance in high school and college?

Diaz: I do not plan to do dancing in college. I would like to focus on the career I will pursue.

The Wrangler: What are you doing as a career?

Diaz: Surgeon.

The Wrangler: How do you manage dance and your classes?

Diaz: I manage my dancing and classes by standing on top of everything and finishing everything when I don’t have practice.

The Wrangler: What dance team are you on at the moment?

Diaz: I am on the Lariette Varsity Dance Team.

The Wrangler: Did you know how to dance before highschool?

Diaz: I knew how to tap dance, but we don’t do that on the dance team so no, I didn’t know.

The Wrangler: How would you describe dancing in three words?

Diaz: Fun, challenging, and tiring.

The Wrangler: Would you say it’s a passion?

Diaz: Yes, it is because you need a lot of confidence and passion to keep on pushing yourself to do great.

The Wrangler: Do you like high school dance or is there something you would like to change about it?

Diaz: I love high school dance. It keeps me in check, it challenges me and gave me a new family that I love.

The Wrangler: What’s better, being a Belle or a Lariette?

Diaz: Being a Lariette is better because I like how it challenges me and the new family that I have. There is so much positive energy in my team and all the confidence they give me.
