The JV girls track team traveled to Brazoswood High School yesterday February 21^st 2013 for the first track meet of the season and finished as the team runner-up. 1^st place winners were Kendall Bess for the 400 meter and Silhouette Uzoka for the 200 meter. 2^nd place winners were Chinwe Ekewith the long jump; Silhouette Uzoka, Kearah Nails, Enaya White and Diamond Whitfield in the 4×100 race; Enaya White with the 100 meter race; Linda Etufugh, Katelyn Burke, Cerenitee Adams and Kendall Bess in the 4×400 meter race; and Katelyn Burke in the 300 meter hurdles. 3^rd place winners were Silhouette Uzoka, Kearah Nails, Enaya White and Diamond Whitfield in the 4×200 meter races; Enaya White with the long jump and triple jump; Romaine Smith in shot put; and Linda Etufugh in the 400 meter and 800 meter races.

The freshmen and JV boys track teams were first place at the Foster Falcon Relays on February 21^st, 2013. The teams had several first place finishes, including an impressive mile relay by the freshmen boys, helped seal the victory.
