Varsity baseball competes in the Woodlands tournament

The Varsity Baseball team continued with the Woodlands Tournament this past Friday and Saturday. The Longhorns came away with a 2-2 record against tough 5A teams.
On Friday, the Longhorns faced Klein Collins and after a rough game, came away with a 6-1 loss. Blake Sisco and Lorenzo Palomares both had doubles. On Saturday, the Longhorns played a close game but lost to the Woodlands 5-4. Will Gay had a solo home run while Blake Sisco, Chad Romere, Lorenzo Palomares, and Stone Garrett each had singles. Later on Saturday the Longhorns faced Kinkaid and came away with a 6-2 win. Grant Page threw a complete game with 5 strikeouts. Offensively, Alex Shaver and Cameron Boudreaux both had triples, Will Gay had a double, Blake Sisco, Cameron Boudreaux, and Stone Garrett each had hits. The Varsity Baseball team will host a tournament here at the Ranch beginning on Thursday.
