The JV girls track team traveled to Brazoswood High School for the first track meet of the season and finished as the team runner-up for the meet. The first place finishes include Kendall Bess in the 400m and Silhouette Uzoka in the 200m. Second place finishes include, Chinwe Eke with the long jump; Silhouette Uzoka, Kearah Nails, Enaya White and Diamond Whitfield in the 4×100; Enaya White in the 100m; Linda Etufugh, Katelyn Burke, Cerenitee Adams and Kendall Bess in the 4×400; Katelyn Burke in the 300m hurdles. Third place winners include Silhouette Uzoka, Kearah Nails, Enaya White, and Diamond Whitfield in the 4 x 200; Enaya White with the long jump and triple jump; Romaine Smith with the shot put; and Linda Etufugh in the 400M and 800M.
