Boys’ track brings home team title at LCISD relays

The Boys’ track and field team compete in the LCISD relays on Friday, March 1.  The boys’ brought home the team title for the second year in a row beating out 4A power Marshall and 5A power Bush.  Tylen Guidry, Xavian Marks, Joshua Okonye, and Alex Shaver brought home the gold medals in the 4X100 with a time of 41.78 and they also won the 4X200 with a time of 1:28.77 with both being new school records.  Alex Shaver brought home the silver medal in the 100 meters; Xavian Marks brought home the bronze medal in both the 200 meters and the Long Jump.  Jonah Font brought home the silver medal in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 39.90 a new school record.  Chandler Heikkila brought home the gold in the 3200 meters with a time of 9:57, a new school record, and he brought home the bronze in the 1600 meters.  Jordan Janer brought home the bronze in the 800 with a time of 1:58.44, a new school record, and he brought home the silver in the 1600 meters with a time of 4:39.
