George Ranch  JV Lady Longhorns ost 10-3 to Angleton Tuesday, March 5th at home, despite Lauren Chubon’s two-hit day at the dish. George Ranch scored three runs in the bottom of the third to cut its deficit to five. A ground out by Heidi Hamp and a two-run double by Cienna Cantu gave George Ranch hope for a win.
The Varsity softball team collected four hits, but Lady Longhorns fell 7-0 to Angleton. Natasha Cabucio was a workhorse on the pitcher’s mound for the Longhorns. Cabucio allowed two earned runs, eleven hits, no walks and two strike-outs over seven innings of pitching.
