Sugar Land Events in April

Free event in Sugar Land during the month of April.

The city of Sugar Land hosts a lot of events to entertain families and friends in the area. The majority of these events are free to the public. There are also events at The Smart Financial Center.

Friday, April 6th

Child Advocates Light of Hope – This ceremony will have blue balloons, information tables, blue ribbon t-shirts, car magnets and pins that feature special tributes and loud music.

Fort Bend Empty Bowls – This will include silent and live auctions with featured hand-painted bowls.

Saturday, April 7th

Relay For Life of Greater Fort Bend – Join cancer survivors, volunteers, and community members as they unite for the annual relay to help save lives from cancer.

Friday, April 13th

Bite Night Fridays at Riverstone – A handful of food trucks are headed to Riverstone on Friday. This event occurs the second Friday of every month.

Saturday, April 14th

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rock Earth Day Celebration – A day full of family fun.

Yoga in the Park – Enjoy yoga in the park on a nice spring day.

Sunday, April 15th

Sensory-Friendly Day – George Ranch Historical Park will open its doors for its first annual Sensory-Friendly Day.

Saturday, April 21st

Movie Under the Moon – This months movie is Wonder.

Autism Speaks 8K & 1K Kid’s Run Run – Get your running shoes ready for an event that means much more than the 4.97 miles you will run.

March for Babies – Come join us for a 3.2-mile run, a splash pad, carousel, and face painting. The Cody Wayne Band will be playing live at this event.

Sunday, April 22nd

Resolve Walk of Hope – This is a community event that supports those with infertility and represents the journey.

Friday, April 27th

MD Anderson Cancer Survivor Celebration – This free event will include live music, fun giveaways, and inspiring speakers.
