Varsity Longhorn Baseball Defeats Bay City 13-1

The Varsity Longhorn baseball team traveled to Bay City Tuesday, April 16 and came home with a victorious win with a score of 13-1. The Longhorns held five innings over the Blackcats.  The offense was led by Blake Sisco, who went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, two RBI’s, and two  runs. Will Gay was 3 for 3 with a home run and total of six RBI’s. Chad Romere was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Kyle Owen, Grant Page, and Lorenzo Palomares each had doubles and contributed RBI’s.  Page took the mound for the Longhorns, going three innings and only allowing three hits and one earned run while striking out five.  Nick Nowak came in for the last two innings and kept all six batters from reaching base.  The Longhorns are now 9-1 in district play as they travel to Foster on Friday to take on the 10-0 Falcons.
