The engineering club competed at the State Technology Student Association contest over the weekend of Friday, April 12 with excellent results from the team of Daniel Garcia, LeRoy Franklin, Adrian Michel, Joshua Chavez, Juilana Herrera, Johnathon Garcia, Fisher Cherry, Gerardo Vazquez, and Michah Bullock.
Michael Matta and Mills Lemaire received honorable mention for placing sixth in video game design and Bullock for placing fourth in CAD 3D.
After competing in the T.E.A.M.S. (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Math, Science) competition, the team of Joshua Chavez, Adrian Michel, Micah Bullock, Sterling Grimes, Daniel Garcia, Gerardo Vazquez and Andy Henrici were named second in the state and eighth in the nation on Monday, April 15. The Engineering club will be sending a team to Nationals in Orlando, Florida over the summer.
