Varsity XC Brings the Heat to the 2020 6A Regional Meet

Both girls and boys Varsity Cross Country competed at the 2020 6A UIL Regional Meet on November 10, 2020. Here is a look into the action our Longhorns brought! This meet was held at Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park in Huntsville, Texas.

Junior Lexi Harkrider, and Sophomore Madison Haldiman qualify individually for the State 6A XC Meet. Way to go Lexi and Madison! George Ranch XC is officially State Bound!

The Varsity girls team containing the following athletes: Britton Bieletz (12), Haley ‘Lexi’ Harkrider (11), Madison Haldiman (10), Ashley Pierson (10), Ava Curtis (10), Kacey Ehlen (9), Haley Moffett (9), coached by Alicia Dutch, finished the 2020 UIL Regional Meet in sixth place out of sixteen teams. Two of the GRHS Varsity girls, Lexi Harkrider (11), and Madison Haldiman (10) qualify for the 2020 6A State Crosscountry meet held in Roundrock, Texas!

Congratulations to the GRHS Girl’s varsity team for yet again another excellent season. George Ranch Cross Country is officially (as of November 11, 2020) on the road to State for the second time in the school’s history!
