Friday night, January 31st, The Girls Varsity Basketball played their last home game against Brazosport. There were countless moments of a close-necked tie between the teams, however, the Girls Basketball team ultimately lost 40-44. The Exporters led 31-25 at half time and went on an 11-2 run in the 3rd quarter that placed the Longhorns 3 points behind. Freshman, Julia Schwake led the team with 17 points and Olivia West rounded out the double digit scoring with 11 points. The Girls Basketball team invited their parents to watch the game, dubbing the night as Parent Night.
