FFA Takes the Steak

The FFA traveled to Stephenville to the Tarleton State University Career Development Event Invitational. The veterinary science team represented by Anna Joy Jackson, Leslie Valdez, SaVanna Laney, Whitney Wakefield and Jazmin Orellana placed 46th out of 160 teams. The livestock judging team represented by Hanna Redenius, Katie Koerth, Austen Guillen, Kayla Finnegan and Logan Hirsch placed 80th out of 307 teams.

 

The dairy foods team represented by Taylor Cook, Viviana Ramos, Shelby Mosely and Larissa Eversole placed 28th out of 146 teams. The dairy cattle judging team represented by Leo Lin, Robert Wyke, Megan Lepovitz and Chris Flores-Lopez placed 37th out of 175 teams. Leo Lin was also 6th place high individual. The poultry judging team represented by Jordie Kendall, Carter Feldhoff, Katie Money and Trung Luong placed 93rd out of 143 teams. Rae Gresso and Mallory Chandler participated as individuals in horse judging and Taylor Holt and Hannah Kleiber participated as individuals in entemology.

 

Congratulations to all the teams! Vet science and dairy cattle will travel back to Stephenville to compete at the area contest on April 9th and the rest of the teams will compete in College Station on April 5th. Good luck everyone!
