Members of the girls varisty track team competed at the 86th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays this past weekend. The girls competed amongst a field of the best track and field athletes across the nation from California to Florida.

Deandria Batsiste, Chigozie Ogbonna, Chidube Ogbonna and Lisa Egege respectively ran a season best of 1:44 in the girls 4×200 meter relay and finished 44th out of 58 teams. Later on Lily Egege, Chigozie Ogbonna, Kandice Miles and Lisa Egege ran a season best in the girls 4×400 relay and broke a new school record of 4:01.90 running 4:01.80. They finished 31st out of 78 teams. GRHS girls qualified a 4×100 relay and did well.
