Varsity Tennis District Tournament

The varsity tennis team hosted the LCISD district tournament on Friday, April 4th. The Longhorns won medals in four of the five draws and nine athletes qualified for regionals. First place finishes were by Ally Maciel in girls singles, and Haley Schulte and Alessandra Jara in girls double. Second place finishers were Anna Joy Jackson and Rachel Dziuk in girls doubles, Bryce Davis and Ashley Cavazos in mixed doubles, and Sean Sellers and Joey Ballone in boys doubles. Third place medalists were Camille Saha in girls singles, Eric Duesterhoft and Gina Bautista in mixed doubles, and Kenneth Cunningham and Grant Holly in boys doubles.
