ABC’s hottest new show Once Upon a Time features all the old fairy tales our parents told us when we were young: Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Genie of Agrabah, Hansel and Gretel, Jiminy Cricket, and many other enchanted stories that we all know and love. Each episode is dedicated to one of the traditional fairy tales.
Once Upon a Time follows the life of a young woman, Emma Swan, who is the daughter of Prince Charming, known as David Nolan in the real world, and Snow White, known as Mary Margaret. Emma comes to visit, and ultimately live in, the town called Storybrooke. The town is filled with all of our beloved fairy tale characters who are trapped with no memory of their real life, as a result of a spell cast by the evil Queen Witch, who is also known as the town’s mayor Regina Mills. The only person who actually knows about the town’s curse is Swan’s son, Henry Mills, the adopted son of Mayor Mills. Henry believes that the town of Storybrooke is trapped, and his biological mother was sent to save it.
Once Upon a Time is a non-stop drama-filled series that grips the viewer into old stories that everyone knows and loves. Every episode brings a new twist to the series that only compels avid viewers to come back again and see what the evil queen will do next. Can Emma Swan foil her plans? Will she be able to free Storybrooke from the curse and live her happily ever after? Find out on Sundays at 7 p.m. on ABC.
