Friday, October 10th, the 4-1 Longhorns were matched up  against the 5-0 Falcons, in the anticipated game of  the week.  After the Falcons jumped to a quick 14-0 lead less the five minutes into the game, the Longhorns responded scored 2 unanswered points  to end the first half with a 21-14 lead. The defense stepped up forcing three interceptions and one fumble in the game.  The  offense, led by the running  game, with Xavian and Darius combining for 364 yards, and a sensational performance from Timon Nolan; the Longhorns routed the Falcons  41-17. George Ranch takes on Angleton at Traylor Stadium Thursday, October 16 at 7:30.
