The Wrangler sat down with some of the administration staff to get some tips for the student body.

  1. Early voting for the 2014 School Bond will take place beginning Monday, October 20 through Friday, October 31, 2014.
  2. George Ranch will host a PSAT Information Night on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.  Parents may begin picking up their child’s PSAT results at 6:00 p.m. prior to the scheduled 7:00 p.m. PSAT Information Session.  Beginning Tuesday, January 13, 2015 through Friday, January 16, 2014 – students will review their PSAT results (questions and answers) through their core content classes.
  3. This week is Pink Out week at the Ranch as we continue to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
  4. Our boys and girls cross country teams compete for the district title on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.  The meet will kick off at 9:00 a.m. at Sea Bourne Park in Rosenberg.
  5. Varsity football continues on Friday, October 24, 2014 as we take on the Terry Rangers.  Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Traylor Stadium.  George Ranch will sit on the visitor’s side.  Football tickets are on sale Tuesday through Friday during all lunches.
  6. Our 9th graders will have the opportunity to participate in our annual Rachel’s Challenge assembly on Thursday, October 23, 2014.  9th grade students and students/staff new to GRHS are invited to attend the Thursday morning assembly.
  7. Now is the time to order your 2015 GRHS Yearbook. This week is National Buy Your Yearbook week, and the yearbook staff is celebrating with daily giveaways of gift cards to local restaurants. The grand prize will be a Homecoming Gift Basket, with items for the winner and a friend: two homecoming football game tickets, two glow-in-the-dark pep rally tickets, glow items, two homecoming dance tickets, and a homecoming shirt. To be eligible for the giveaways, you must order your yearbook.
  8. Beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2014 through Friday, October 31, 2014, George Ranch led by the Class of 2018 will collect canned good donations.  Our goal is to fill the food pantries throughout Ft. Bend County.
