Authorities have identified the shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as 19 year old ex-student, Nikolas Cruz.

The FBI states that there was a report of a YouTube comment left in September, by Cruz, stating “I’m going to be a professional school shooter.”

Originally unreleased, the official fatality count is now 17, from NBC News, and 14 were wounded.

From NBC news, “Several students told NBC News that the school had gone through They said the fire alarm sounded again just before the shots were heard.”

Cruz has been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder and has a possibility of a court appearance as early as Thursday.
