Music: What’s your Guilty Pleasure?

The “Up All Night” album by One Direction, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, a few of my favorite songs from the Pitch Perfect album, and old Jonas Brothers songs. These are just a few examples of the embarrassing music I have on my iPhone. As much as I don’t want to admit that at one point I was, in fact, in love (and in the case of the Pitch Perfect album, still am) with this music, these songs are my guilty pleasures that I can’t help but indulge myself in every now and then.

So I ask you, the people of George Ranch…What’s the most embarrassing music you listen to?

“NSYNC and Spice Girls, but the most embarrassing has to be the Big Bang. It’s this Korean band, and I don’t even know what they’re saying!” Hiba Khan (10)

“‘The Prayer” by Andrew Bocelli and Celine Dion. Darla Ramirez (11)

“I listen to a lot of Motown [such as] Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, and The Temptations. Joey Minkel [11]

“‘Stronger” by Britney Spears. Allyson Karaffa [12]

“‘Be” by The Black-Eyed Peas. Natalie Sulak [12]

“‘On My Own” from Les Misérables, “Nine Peoples Favorite Thing” from The Title of Show, and “La Vie Boheme” from Rent. Keenan Chiasson [12]

“I sometimes listen to Bridget Mendler, that girl from ‘Good Luck Charlie’ on Disney Channel. Whenever her song, ‘Ready or Not,’ came out, I found it really fun and felt the need to look up her whole CD.” Krisann Curts [12]

One Direction. Brent Caronongan [12]
