Varsity Baseball Win Over Foster


The 4-0 Longhorn Varsity Baseball team hosted the 4-0 Foster Falcons Friday, March 28 and came away with a 5-4 victory in 8 innings. Cameron Boudreaux blasted a solo homerun in the first to get the Longhorns on the board. The Falcons scratched out a run to leave the score 1-1 before an hour lightening delay. The Falcons went up 3-1 in the 3rd and held that lead until the 6th inning. Stone Garrett blasted a 3 run bomb to give the Longhorns the go ahead 4-3. Foster managed to scratch out another run in the 7th to tie the game and send it to extra innings. With an intentional walk to Garrett, Kyle Owen singled, Brady Burns walked to load the bases for Kevin Kopps to hit the walk off single.

The Longhorns improve to 5-0 in district play as they take on Terry Tuesday, April 2.
